In the second quarter of 2024, the top survival games in Africa showed varied performance metrics. Here's a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for the top five games, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Last Day on Earth: Survival from Kefir saw a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, peaking at around $2.9K in the first week of April and ending June with approximately $2.3K. Downloads remained relatively stable, starting at 3K and reaching up to 3.1K by the end of the quarter. The game had a steady number of active users, starting at 13K and closing the quarter with around 12.5K.

Frostborn: Coop Survival, also from Kefir, experienced a revenue increase, peaking at $2.9K in early May. However, downloads and active users saw a decline, with downloads dropping from 206 in April to 44 by the end of June, and active users decreasing from 140 to 53 over the same period.
